What's up beautiful people and welcome back to "Word Up Wednesday"
Your Mid - Week dose of inspo!
Let's jump right in!
Do you ever find yourself reliving a certain event over and over again randomly?!? Like in the shower, in passing or when you're doing mundane tasks? You know having conversations with yourself that sound like...........

"and I know they were lying! because they always do! and I don't need them and I don't know why they keep doing that! etc....
Come on! You know those thoughts that hit your mind constantly reminding you of your severe disdane for certain people, relationships or situations that made you feel a certain way. So much so that reliving them gets you all upset all over again?
We all have them.
But the good thing is that if we pay attention to these reoccurring annoyances we can celebrate in knowing that God is highlighting the voice of bitterness and the lack of forgiveness in our hearts. You see, Jesus died on the cross so that our sins would be forgiven over and over again and while we may believe we mean well 24/7 the truth is that we are all destined for epic failure on a daily basis but with awareness and humility we have the Jesus given gift of speaking forgiveness over ourselves and detoxing negativity.
But, the key is awareness and humility.
So the next time you find yourself in the shower reliving an unfortunate event and feeling irritated all over again, Thank king Jesus for his amazing gift of power and repentance.
Here's a prayer.
"Bitterness and unforgiveness you've got to go! In Jesus name. Lord take it all away and free me from it today. May that moment in time no longer determine my thoughts, my heart posture, my words or how I treat people. Father I thank you for your eternal sacrifice that allows me to repent over and over again. In Jesus name I pray, I release and I thank you! AMEN.
Final thoughts
The truth is "bitterness" and "unforgiveness" are silent killers. Meaning they thrive in people who are oblivious to their voice and the actions that are attached to their presence in a persons life. Life is extremely unpredictable so sometimes unfortunate things happen to great people and those are the doors that allow them in.
Pay attention to the moments you relive and vent over in your own time and allow yourself a moment of prayer. You will find that after you ask Jesus to forgive you and remove them, you won't even recall those moments anymore and even if you do, the disdain won't be there because the voice of bitterness will no longer be able to speak through that door from your past.
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love and of a sound mind. - 2 Timothy 1:7
Because you deserve to live, A GREAT LIFE.
