"Obedience"

What's up beautiful people! It's word up Wednesday!! And I am so blessed to be here and writing to you yet another week. Ok, so I have a loaded question for you. You ready?!?! "What could your obedience offset?" I know.. I know... take a moment and we will come back to this.

So, in the book of Genesis God visits Noah and tells him that he is going to cleanse the earth through a mighty flood and that the flood will kill everything on land that has "The breath of life". So, because Noah is a righteous man God tells him to build an ark. He gives him all the instructions and measurements and so and so on and Noah gets to work and does "everything God commanded him to do".

Now, there's a lot more to this amazing story but for the sake of this brief newsletter I am going to stop there!

Ok so, imagine God comes to you and tells you he is going to do a mighty thing in your lifetime and gives you instructions, or an idea or vision and says if you do this, then X, Y and Z will happen. Ok, let me break it down a little more. Maybe there is a great work in your life right now that you are neglecting because it's easier to work and do for others than for yourself. If that is the case, I just want to be your friendly reminder to BREATH LIFE into your passions, gifts, talents and natural abilities because like Noah when we are obedient to the good word in our lives it not only protects us but it also saves our families and opens the door to new things!

If Noah heard the instructions but decided to procrastinate, not listen or simply put it to the side there's a high chance he would've been swept away with the flood and his lineage would've went with it. You see, because Noah was righteous or should we say Obedient it benefited not only him and his family but all the generations after him including you and me! Because that is the power of Obedience! It is a ripple effect through time and space as we know it. So! I ask one more time.
