What's up beautiful people and welcome back to "Word Up Wednesday"
your Mid-Week Dose of Inspo!
I am very honored to have this assignment in my life. And by this assignment I mean the willingness and desire to inspire through God's word. It's honestly not something I saw for myself. As a matter of fact, if it were up to me I would be rocking stages, touring the world and in major IMAX film projects. LOL yup! I would be a superstar! A household name!
A curator of a blog and a budding podcast was not in that vision however, I must say God's route is always the best route. And who know's maybe I'll still rock stages, tour the world, star in major films and be a household name in Jesus name! I mean anything is possible through Christ right?!?
I guess what I am getting at is, life doesn't always pan out the way we want it too or in
the timing we desire but that's the beauty of life.

Not only do we get to LIVE! But we are constantly reminded to relinquish the things of this world because they are temporal. You see my vision of what or how I thought life would look like was always fleeting. My value and identity was tied strictly to the pursuits of this world. And while I strongly know and believe God still has a place for me in those areas, I am so grateful that I was graced with the time to find my identity in Christ first.
That my success is in the "Secret place" (Psalm 91). If God would've allowed those doors to fly open in my favor and in my timing I may have never found my way back to Him. The Great Maker of Everything. I say this because I've seen many previous comrades still on that old path and it is not a favorable one.
To anyone reading this today, please know this. If it didn't work out praise the Lord! Rejection is just redirection. It is God's protection. Your destiny is written in the stars so it's only a matter of time. But God's path not only leads the way, it shields you from the wiles of the world.
May you be protected and guarded in all that you do! And may God always see you through. Because You Deserve to Live, A Great Life.
