The Power of a Seed.

What's up everyone! Man, it's been a little while since the last time I sent out a newsletter and must say, it feels amazing to be free writing a "Word up Wednesday" blog post.

I pray this blog truly blesses your spirit. When I originally started this blog it was my hope that it would feel like a well needed newspaper break for the 9-5ers out there and I wonder is that hope a reality? (let me know in the comments below)

Stay on track please!

Right! Ok, as I was saying the reason why it feels amazing to be sharing my thoughts through literature is because I have a theory that writing is the voice of the soul. It's a display of our inner most authentic self and the desire to continue in this space is a blessing from the Lord Jesus Christ. So, with all that being said I just want to be your friendly reminder to not be so quick to give up on your vision and goals.

Oh Lord, here she go ya'll!

Ok, wait give me a chance first! - There's a scripture in the book of Genesis that says ...

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, Winter and Summer, And day and night Shall not cease." - Genesis 8:22

This means that after we plant our seeds, there is an uncertain period before the seed yields a harvest. Often, we tend to give up before the seed has had sufficient time to bear fruit because it doesn't grow quickly enough according to our own schedules.

Yeah but wanting something while I'm still breathing is not a crime Paris!

Sheesh! You are spicy today, just hear me out!

Consider Sarah, Abraham's wife. God promised them a son but did not specify when it would happen; he simply assured them it would (the word = seed). However, as Sarah aged (time), she doubted that God's promise would be fulfilled and decided to have Abraham conceive a son with Hagar. In other words, instead of trusting the process (time), she took control of the situation herself. How many visions (words) have you pivoted on because of time?

There is a reason why God tells us to have patience and faith. He tells us this because through the evolution of these actions we get the opportunity to enjoy the journey (time) in between the harvest and the privilege to live in the sustainment of God's strength.

Ok, since you're such an "expert"how do you relate to this?

In my situation, I stopped working on my blog because it wasn't attracting an audience. Why keep writing if no one is interested (which isn't true). Notice how swiftly the mind criticizes something positive? The reality is that building an audience requires time. It involves time, development, and evolution as a writer. I must persist because, over time, I will evolve, deepen my understanding of the word of God, and gain confidence in this area.

Ok... That actually makes sense.

When we plant a spiritual seed, it isn't a one-dimensional action. As children of the eternal God, what we plant holds infinite potential. While it might appear to be just a "blog and a newsletter," its dimensional impact is far greater. Imagine your seeds as an infinity mirror. As they grow, they expand like a ripple through space and time. Another fitting analogy is to view your seeds as a tree. A tree has a foundation that gives rise to many branches. Although we naturally perceive things linearly, our seeds grow in a multidimensional way.

Wow, we have that much power huh?!?

Absolutely, we do! With that in mind, if you've planted a seed, allow it the time it needs to grow and thrive. Enjoy the journey in the meantime, as this period will also help you grow and elevate, preparing you for when the Harvest arrives. Stay humble, calm your mind, and continue nurturing your seed. It will yield its harvest at the right time.

"For there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." - Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV

Because you deserve to live a Great Life!

Wow Paris! I'm amazed by God's anointing on you. I can so relate to this, for so many moments in my artistic journey I felt my hard work and seeds planted were not growing. However, God allowed me to see that the seeds I was planting were growing in ways i never expected. Even if it was just one person responding to me and letting me know I motivated them for one day, it was all i needed. Thank you for sharing this:)
