Well, Hello! And welcome back to another word up Wednesday blog! I always feel so "Entrepreneurial" when I log onto my computer to write these. Let me give you a visual!
I get up, draw the curtains back and pull up the blinds, revealing my floor to ceiling un obstructed view of Downtown Los Angeles. I walk to the kitchen, make me some fresh ground authentic Ethiopian drip from a local coffee shop. I add cream, a little sugar and walk over to my 27 inch flat screen monitor. Sit in my cozy office chair, admire the steam and fragrance of a good morning coffee, put on my headphones, cut on some Lofi and vibe out.
It's a vibe right? lol. Like a scene from a movie.
You know, it's so important to prioritize relaxing moments in your life and in your day. Their is a scripture that says: Matthew 10:39 - He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.
Now, you're probably like, what in the same crackle does this have to do with that. You see, sometimes we are so into ourselves, our circumstances, our worries, our doubts, our gains, our bodies, our friends, our relationship, our have's, our have not's.... I mean I can keep going lol. We are so into everything that is us and reality that we lose sight of the bigger picture and some people live their whole life this way. But Jesus is saying... "PUT IT DOWN". he's saying "Lose YOUR life".
Let's dig deeper. What happens when you lose something? You can't find it! You simply have to go with out it for a little bit right? You can't find your phone... You can't find the remote.... you just have to adjust or put the idea of it away for a moment and gather yourself. Losing something always means there's the potential to find it again. In other words, it's important to separate yourself from the story continuously and everyday. You need to know what that looks and feels like. Your reality is there to be lived but putting it down, or losing it allows time to pray, speak with God, download divine wisdom, receive visions of your next steps, divorce relationships with anxiety and build partnerships with God.
In doing this, you will also gain the much deserved heavenly gift called "PEACE" and who don't love them some peace? I am so addicted to peace, "PROUDLY" of course. I love her so much. Peace girl! let's have some lunch, let's go on a walk, let's have a worship session. PEACE! you are my A1 day 1. Peace, you are one of the best gifts the heavenly father has bestowed upon my life and my gratitude for you exceeds a thousand words.
The scripture says: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
HOME WORK: For the next 7 day's you will LOSE YOUR LIFE for 15 minutes a day in 5 minute increments. 5 minutes in the morning, afternoon and before you go to bed. Find a place of silence or solitude. Either pray, read a scripture, sit in silence, mediate or listen to worship music. This is your God time. Solely focus on letting your life go during this time. Absolutely nothing matters when you are taking your five minutes.
Bills don't matter, what isn't done don't matter, the noise... it don't matter. And also during this time, set your heart on peace. Ask God to reveal the Peace in your life. Because as the scripture says, it's already there, you just need to know how to access it.
Because you deserve to live a Great Life!
May God bless you, and keep you, in Jesus name - Amen.
Please share this Blog with a super dope friend, or someone you love! Peace is ours, it's here, it's with us! And we should all understand how to access it. - Paris.
